"Let us not seek the Republican answer or the Democratic answer, but the right answer. Let us not seek to fix the blame for the past, let us accept the responsibility for the future…"

To whom it may concern:
This letter is written on behalf of Bob Cockey to highlight and call attention to the wonderful outreach and support he has consistently shown to the Baltimore community over these last years.
My name is Michael Mellett and I have known Bob for nearly ten years since I moved into the Hollins Roundhouse neighborhood in Southwest Baltimore. During this time I have not only seen Bob support many groups, causes and events with food and beverage free of cost but also supply tables, chairs, paper goods, ice and perhaps his biggest attribute of all – his smiling, bright eyed, encouraging presence, no matter how big or small the cause, which instantly adds depth and charm to the proceedings.
Having lived in Southwest Baltimore over these years, I have seen what Bob’s presence and involvement means to people across these neighborhoods. Children and mothers again and again shout “Bob” and run into his arms delighted to see him. I have seen men shake his hand with joy. It is easy to see that Bob’s involvement and reputation in the community as a helper and life force is meaningful and appreciated. Bob is the kind of Baltimore jewel that truly makes some tough places and tough times better.
As Board of Director’s President of the Irish Railroad Workers Museum I was honored to have Bob accept our invitation to join our Board in the last few years. Bob has been immeasurably helpful in our events committees, planning, organizing and executing our many dinners, fundraisers and parties that support our volunteer and free museum. We as an organization benefit not only from his donations of time and material but from his citywide relationships with people and organizations that make us an organization stronger.
Additionally, Bob is also a member of the St Patrick Division 5 of the Baltimore City Ancient Order of Hibernians which is a charitable and fellowship organization of which we also benefit greatly from Bob’s involvement.
I can without any hesitation recommend Bob Cockey for any project, position or program that has at its core – people and their betterment. Bob Cockey is a people person with exceptional restaurant management and food preparation skills and the biggest commitment and heart to the people of Baltimore that I know.
Great Honor to welcome Bob Cockey the leading Rights activist and Chair for Americans for Peace alliance. What an amazing initiative to support Trump's doctrine for Dialogue, Diplomacy and Development. Peace through Economic Development will change the Course in Kashmir, Gaza and Ukraine.
